It hosts a Wonderful Coastline with a variety of Wide Sandy Beaches, accompanied by some Superb Open Countryside. Incorporating the Splendid Norfolk Broads, Rivers, Forests & Flat Lands, over which the Huge "Magnificent Sky's" can delight you with the stunning variety of Sunrise and Sunsets, especially during the Autumn and Winter Months.
The Norfolk Broads offers a whole host of activities ranging from Hiking Horse Riding, Rowing, Sailing, Pleasure Boats, Canoeing, Golf, Hot Air Ballooning, Skiing and even Sky Diving plus of course the many attractions for all age groups School Lodge is directly on the Weavers Way which is very popular with Walkers.
You may wish to visit one of the Markets , Auctions or Antique Fairs or Car Boot Sales in the region. Who knows ,you may end up buying something that is quite valuable for very little money If You like boats then there are Sea Trips where you can go and watch the Seals as well as Trips and Fishing on the Broads . Visit the Nature Reserves, RSPB sites Strumpshaw Fen "just down the road" and home to the "Bittern" Pensthorpe Host of BBC Springwatch plus many more.
Norfolk hosts many Stately Homes including Blickling Hall which hosts Outside Concerts at various times during the Summer. And of Course we have Royal Sandringham .. There you never know who you may see. "It has been known" .
Gardens may be your Love .. To that end both Norfolk and Suffolk has many.. The Old Vicaridge East Ruston and Blooms of Bressingham Fairhaven Woodland and Water Garden to name but a couple Popular are the Steam Railways and Museums. The Poppy Line The Bure Valley Railway, Bressingham,and Thursford are but a few.
A Great Day Out from School Lodge is a visit to the Seaside Town of Great Yarmouth (which has the not only the Golden Mile but lots of Museums, Heritage sites a large Market, Horse Racing, Stock Car Racing and its only 10-15mins drive). Also the North Norfolk Seaside towns of Sherringham, Cromer and Hunstanton are within easy reach.
If by chance you tire of the great outdoors, then a visit to the " Historical Medieval City of Norwich" Which hosts a Myriad of Splendid places, Museums, Churches, Cathedrals, Shops & Theatres, Norwich Castle, Lots historic areas such as Elm Hill below, the famous Lanes plus the largest static market in the country.
The surrounding Market Towns of Fakenham, Beccles, Aylsham, Bungay, Reepham, Acle etc. are indeed an adventure in their own right. "Note" Norwich hosts Britains Largest Permanent Market, and of course Wroxham is a must on most peoples list. There is so much going on and attractions to see in norfolk it will be very hard not to enjoy your self.
